Objective Scenarios
Post Body

I've grown tired of the simple, "cap this zone" objectives every single map.

Suggestions:

  1. Secure/deliver package to cap an objective. This could be intel in the form of documents/a hard drive/black box.

  2. Destroying/building something to cap an objective and advance the map.

  3. Extracting a VIP ( This would take much more thought and balance to make it work)

I remember games like Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory where you had to escort vehicles/VIPs, destroy bridges/gates/radar relays and such, and other "objectives" that weren't simple "get in the zone" scenarios every map. And that game was released 20 years ago.

Thoughts?
