Horde nights feel either instantly deadly or entirely safe. Which makes them a bit boring.

This is just an observation. On console so playing the base game without mods. It feels like building a base for horde night, everyone knows how to make it extremely difficult for the zeds to get in, even for day 7. So either you're safe or you get caught out in the open and you die immediately. Would it be better if zombies chaotically attacked everything rather than hard routing?
