had the worst oxford interview ever (biology)
Post Body

started off with a personal statement question on a topic in a book i read that i mentioned in my personal statement. great i can answer this. no i can't anymore because they're asking me for more detail than was given in the book so it was just sort of me making educated guesses

then i get a horrible graph question that i partially couldn't answer, they had to tell me an answer and i didn't even know the term they said but i think salvaged the rest of the question. then i did alright with the next question but needed a little hint at the end. then the last question was pretty bad, we went over time because they wouldn't stop grilling me on what i said though the guy seemed impressed that i mentioned mrna sequencing specifically. fml guys im already drafting my request for interview feedback email

i applied to oxford on a whim, i didn't think i'd make it so far but idk why im so sad about it...i actually want to go to imperial more than oxford... AAAAAAAA
