Sooo I’m looking for some advice around taking AQA A level philosophy privately whilst I’m going into second year uni studying psychology and philosophy. I did English lit , psych and rs at A level last year and got AAC (the C in RS). I didn’t manage to get into my firm (Durham) which wanted BBB. I go to uni of Aberdeen now - I want to go into clinical psychology and do the doctorate of clinical psych and a lot of unis ( including oxford my dream uni) look at A level grades. a’s and as are viewed the same and they look at your best three so if I can get an A or A in A level philosophy I’ll be in a good position. As I’m going into second year philosophy and will have from now to summer next year I think I should be able to do it. Does anyone have general advice on the A level specifically or doing it privately? Advice on the doctorate process and experiences are welcome too! Thanks so much
