Manchester vs St Andrews Computer Science

Post Body

Hi all,

I am an early applicant, predicted 4 A*s, who applied to Cambridge, Imperial, St Andrews, Warwick and Bath for Computer Science. I have time to switch my choices until 4.15pm today.

However, I am now thinking of switching to Manchester for St Andrews as all my friends with similar grades got a near instant offer of 3 A*s for Manchester. Whereas St Andrews seems to not give a clear grade boundary and I am worried I might not be accepted. I'm also not sure if the remote location of St Andrews fits me either as I am from a town near London.

Essentialy, can anyone comment on how hard it is to get into St Andrews for Computer Science vs Manchester. Or any comments on the course/campus.

Thank you!
