Rpg Class Perks
Post Body

These perks are loosely based off the classes/roles from the game Nethack. The game is really old and has some pretty original classes/roles for most rpgs so I thought it would make for some fun perks.

(You can choose 3)

Archeologist: You can identify if any object of value is real or fake just by touching it (be it gemstones, counterfeit money, an autographed object or an old collector's item). You can see in the dark as if it were broad daylight.

Barbarian: You are immune to all forms of poison and disease. You can eat even rotten or raw meat or venomous animals or plants, although it will still taste terrible. If you have any allergies they will be cured. Your wounds heal 50% faster and your metabolism is faster than average, but you don't need to eat more food to compensate, though.

Caveman: Your iq is reduced by 15% but your strength and endurance to damage as well as pain resistance are raised by 50%. All hair in your body becomes slightly thicker and grows slightly faster.

Healer: Just by touching someone you can heal their wounds. It takes about 5 minutes to heal a lethal wound. It works on you but it's 5 times slower. The power doesn't work on anyone that has eaten an apple on the last 24 hours. You can still eat apples just fine, though.

Knight: You can jump twice your height. You don't hurt yourself from the fall. Your charisma is raised, people seem to like your noble presence and shopkeepers tend to give you considerable discounts. All horses of the world are friendly towards you and unable to cause you harm.

Monk: Your punches are 60% stronger and you can punch anything with as much force as you want and your hands will be just fine. this power and any others you choose are greatly reduced if you are encumbered by heavy weight.

Priest: You can "bless" any object, making it slightly more effective at what it's supposed to do (Batteries last longer, food and drinks taste better and provide greater nourishment, musical instruments sound better, etc). In addition any blessed object is slightly more resistant to damage; unless the object's purpose is to be broken. You may bless up to 3 objects per day and a blessing lasts 30 days. You can donate money to any institution of your choice, be it religious or not, to gain a bonus to your physical toughness and endurance (a donation of 1.000 dollars raises your endurance by 10%). This effect is removed if you perform any malicious acts on purpose.

Ranger: Your sense of smell, hearing and vision are way above average, almost to the level of certain animals. You are very hard to detect in crowds or dark enviroments

Rogue: You can control the trajectory of any thrown object, and you can even throw multiple objects from just one hand, as long as you can lift and throw said objects. You can open any locked door as long as you have an object small enough to fit in the keyhole.

Samurai: Bladed weapons are sharper in your hand, even an almost blunt kitchen knife is as sharp as a high quality sword. You suddenly gain complete knowledge of the language of the nation farthest away from your current location

Tourist: You can visit any nation you want without needing to pay for any travel costs. Your luck seems to be raised, you escape (most) dangerous situations by sheer force of destiny. However, you become more gullible and shopkeepers seem to find it very enjoyable to scam you with ludicrous prices (Ignored if you have the charisma of a Knight).

Valkyrie: You are immune to the effects of cold temperatures, be it an ice cube or the arctic ocean. You can be frozen and un-frozen with no negative side effects. You recieve vague prophecies of your future in your dreams, but you quickly forget them if you don't write them down.

Wizard: Your IQ is raised by 50 points, and you can read any text that you can understand (be it a book or a news article) 30% faster. If you close your eyes you can detect any lifeforms on a 100 meter (328 feet) radius (you can turn it off if you want.)
