Embabwe'o Abadeyo, a Nigerian national arrived in Bangkok over the weekend. He said he was looking forward to working in and around sukhumvit Soi 3, up until around Soi 7 area. His cousin recommended the move and promised to give him a job once on the ground, mostly in pharmaceuticals and financial planning. Embabwe'o is quoted as saying, "I've heard how friendly the people are, it's difficult to find many places where the locals don't automatically assume that people like me are up to no good simply because I'm African. I'm looking forward to being treated as an equal, without this presumption that I'm doing anything nefarious. Thailand will be a great breath of fresh air.
