Having decided to go for 52/52 this year after a few years of thinking about it I've been thinking about what books to read. Then I realised that not all books are created equal (obviously).
To make 52/52 I'd be pretty insane to read some of the books I want to read eventually. Churchill in his own words is massive, likewise New History of Western Philosophy, Dantes Inferno, Faust, or any Tolstoy. On the opposite side I could smash out 5 or 6 Terry Pratchett in a week.
So I find myself trying to balance my list without to many really long/dense books. I wondered how other people handle this, or think about it? Still planning Gulag Archipelago Vol I though lol.
