Hey fellow book lovers!
Today, I'd like to introduce you to an app I developed for cataloging all my books and tracking reading sessions. It's called Book Tracker and is available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The app is the result of a lot of passion and continuous improvements. Its main goal is to catalog all the books you own and create a wishlist of books you want to purchase.
Book Tracker also allows you to track the books you've read and are currently reading, allowing you to mark the pages read each day and record how much time it takes to read a book thanks to the reading timer. Additionally, it's a faithful reading companion, as it allows you to store book quotes and take notes during reading sessions. The app lets you set annual reading challenges, allowing you to input how many books you want to read each year and showing a variety of statistics such as the number of books read per month, pages read per day, month, or year, most-read genres and authors, and much more.
Regarding book cataloging, Book Tracker offers a range of features that enable accurate library tracking. In addition to creating tags and series, you can also create positions to indicate where your books are located. For each position, you can specify the Location (e.g., Home), Bookcase (e.g., Living room library), and Shelf where each book is located. This makes it easier to find them when you're searching.
Book Tracker is born out of love and passion. The idea for the app came about to help my girlfriend catalog her ever-expanding library. For this reason, my ultimate goal is to provide the best experience for readers. My motto is privacy-first. No data entered into the app is tracked or sold to third parties. All data is stored locally on your device and synced across your other devices via your personal iCloud account.
I'll leave you with the links to the website, App Store, and Mac App Store if you're curious to try out the app.
Happy reading!
