While it's not my primary focus here on Reddit, I have noticed that the existing '1950sHousehold' subs here do not currently actually reflect that lifestyle. They have morphed into an exploration of kink, which has no connection to the 50s lifestyle. So, I have created this refuge for those with a genuine interest in 1950s household discussions.
The 1950sHouseholdLifestyle is very much focused on family dynamics. The man is the Head of the Household. He works and brings home the money needed for household expenses. He is also responsible for protecting the family and providing a safe and secure home for them. The woman is responsible for running the day-to-day internal operation of the household. She is also takes the lead in raising the children. Children are taught "family values" which might include: Kindness, Hard work, Honesty, Generosity, Responsibility, Communication, Healthy Living, Education, Integrity and Friendship.
