Looking to upgrade my shocks and springs on my 2022 Chevy Colorado for better offroad performance, and a little lift, yet still be capable on road and towing/hauling.
I drive a 70/30 backroads/city driving, to offroad on jobsites. As well as hitting the trails or doing some sort of offroading every week or so. For work i tend to have about 800-1600 pounds in my bed, but i can deal with a little bit of squatting. I mostly go trail riding, maybe some light crawling, just basic overlanding stuff. But i do like to bomb dirt roads occasionally. And i occasionally tow a tractor or some light machinery, a couple times a month.
Im kinda torn between saving a little, and having a more well rounded and better on road setup with the Eibachs, or go for the Fox Factory 2.5s for the adjustability, and ride quality/performance.
The Eibach kit would cost right around $1500 The Fox setup id go for would be around $2000
Other recommendations also accepted, i just dont wanna go too much more, or too soft. I do like the concept of the reservoir shocks for heat dissipation and whatnot though. Thanks!
I’ve considered the Kings as well, but ive always heard it takes A LONG time to get them after your order. And they are just a little out of my price range, but if i REALLY want something i can swing a little bit more.
The 2.5 DSC Fox shocks are what i was considering, i just dont wanna lose too much payload capacity, can foxes handle a bunch of added weight?

Thats a solid recommendation, BUT surprisingly the truck doesnt squat at all with those weights as is. I fully expected a midsize to struggle with that weight, but this has less trouble than my dads 1500 Rebel
