Technical help- Sony player won’t turn on at all after software update

Hey so im new to the world of 4K. I got a new Sony UBP x700m player for Christmas and it was working great. That is until the update. It asked me to update my firmware so I did. After the update it said it would reset but it never did. I can’t even turn the player on manually. I checked to make sure everything was plugged in and it definitely was all plugged in and ready to rock. The picture on my screen is just black. It still has some kind of signal but doesn’t seem to be able to power on at all. Anyone with any technical expertise know what to do next?
