Thinking of getting a Panasonic 4K player to replace my LG. Does anyone have any experience with these?

A lot of people seem to really praise the Panasonic players in general because of the optimizer feature it has, but I have also seen some people claim after a couple years they start to give trouble. Just looking for some real world opinions before I decide.
