I made my first TV purchase yesterday and i got a 50" Samsung crystal UHD TU690T without doing research first. I bought it because it was one of the "cheapest" 50" Samsungs i could find but now I can't find any reviews of this TV anywhere and now I don't know if it's worth the $400 price. (Price/tax/warranty)
I'm accustomed to watching my entertainment on secondhand 1080p resolution tvs and under. As well as monitors and mobile screens. So I wouldn't have a problem returning this TV and getting something cheaper that's probably $100 less.
I saw some LGs, Vizios, Insignias and Hisenses for cheaper at Best Buy but the salesman discouraged me to buying those. Is there Anyone with experience with those that can share their experience? Any TU690T owners out there?
