Troubleshooting a new 43" Insignia LED

Post Body

Today I decided to finally make the jump to 4K; I did my research and landed on the Insignia 43" F30 LED, model # NS-43F301NA22. The price was right and my brother, who knows more than me, had no objections.

When I got home, I noticed that the image was ghosting a little bit; when a shot would transition to another, the previous shot was visible in outline for a frame or two. This is especially noticeable when switching from a shot with a lot of stark white to a darker shot; a blobby, pixellated, white mess covers the scene for a split second.

In addition, objects moving quickly across the screen gained a blocky, pixellated quality.

I tested several sources, including streaming through the TV on a couple of apps and the new 4K UHD Blu-Ray player I bought to go with it. I fiddled with the advanced picture settings, to no avail. At first I thought it may have been a problem with the streaming, or my internet, but since it happened on from the Blu-Ray as well, I assumed my model was defective and exchanged it for a new one.

However, the problem persists on this new TV as well. So, I'm asking; is there some hidden picture options menu I'm missing with a "Look like trash" slider? Are both of my models defective? Or is the TV just a piece of junk through and through?

Thanks.
