I know, I know C1 for gaming and A80J for movies.

I was already set on the A80J although it is around 200€ more expensive than the C1 for me. I will use it for 20% gaming with PS5, 30% sports and 50% movies. Better picture, better motion was all I needed to hear.

But now my local dealer told me, that with all the updates and the new panels rolling of the production lines, the LG is actually better when it comes to picture quality. I don’t know if he is just trying to sell the LG because he earns more with it or he is speaking the truth. (Mind that the LG is significantly cheaper than the Sony at this particular store)

What is true though, is that most reviews are pretty old by now. Plus none really compared the 77“ versions.

So all I‘m asking is: Is there anybody that made a recent comparison, preferably of the 77“ versions?
