How do i reduce judder on a TCL 6 series?

So every time i watch sports or in a scene where it moves really fast the screen looks like it judders...what setting do i need to apply in order for it to do this less? I have smoothing options but i don’t know what they do? Anyone with same tv that can explain these settings for me and guide me on how to reduce it with the tv settings
