New P65-F1 input lag

Just got this tv, so far it's very nice except for the input lag when gaming. I have my pc hooked up by HDMI to port 2 and I find there's very little lag when I'm just using the desktop but once I get in game it's unplayable. Even when just in main menu it's really bad. Both mouse and xbox controller are laggy. I have it in game mode and "game low latency" is on.
This is the first time I've ever even seen input lag in person, my old plasma was perfect. Not really sure where the problem lies.
