Both are currently for sale at Costco (UK) for the exact same price, around £1700 (65"). The Sony is a mini-LED and the LG is an OLED.

I've done some research into the differences, like their OS, picture quality etc, and I'm honestly stuck on making a decision to the point where I might just flip a coin. I wondered if someone could help me make a more educated decision instead?

It will be used for mainly streaming content, watching blu rays and playing the PS5.

I really love the picture you get with an OLED, but then I've also heard Sony's local dimming algorithm is top notch, and you'd get better brightness overall with it, so I really am stuck.
