Curious why wine would be allowed but not spirits?
Post Body

I know there are reasons why people say that red wine is one of the better forms of alcohol (if you really feel like you need some alcohol in your diet) that you can ingest, but I'm wondering if anyone knows why the SCD would allow red wine, but not, for instance, an ounce of whiskey or vodka? Is there any science behind it or is it just a way to keep self-control issues at bay and keep calories from stacking up too quickly?
