testosterone boost regimen?
Post Body

I'm curious if anyone on this sub has tried the dietary advice (particularly supplements) to boost testosterone and sex drive. In looking at the 4HB book, the gestalt for a baseline testosterone regimen seems to be:

  1. Fermented Cod Liver Oil & "Vitamin rich butter fat" morning and night
  2. Vitamin d3 3000-5000 IU m&n
  3. Cold Showers/Ice Baths m&n
  4. 3 Brazil nuts m&n

I have a couple of questions here:

  1. Is there any clarification on quantities of butter fat or how to take it?
  2. In every chapter of the book it seems he recommends another random thing to take either first thing in the morning or right before bed, from a few forkfuls of sauerkraut before breakfast to almond butter on celery right before bed (plus butter?). It's a little tough to figure out how to put it all together.
  3. Is anyone else, like me, just jumping into trying this experiment from a standpoint of a very early riser with very little morning lead time? I generally get out of bed 20 minutes before I walk out the door and don't eat until around 10 am, then again at noon and dinner around 6 pm. Clearly I'm going to have to work on meal intervals, but adding an hour to each morning to adhere to this program seems really unappealing. Between doing some exercise before breakfast to eating breakfast to taking a cold shower all before I leave for work...it's pretty daunting. I sometimes work 12-16 hour shifts, and that leaves barely enough time to get adequate sleep in between, much less add another hour of duties in the a.m.
