So was driving home, going up an incline, tranny would not shift out of 4th gear. I was able to get home by engaging the transfer case in high. I have never had a problem grinding, popping gears in the t case or Grammy. This literally was a 1 time and truck down scenario. The truck is now parked, I have since pulled the t case and tranny. Have new clutch kit in hand and ready to go, what has anybody else experienced similar to this and what was your resolve. I already had the tranny rebuilt and waiting for my t case to come back for a single stick gear reduction setup. Just wanna hear from anybody who also got stuck in 4th with zero issues. I’ve owned the truck for 6 years and never had an issue. 1 shift and it was stuck in 4th.
