Have a few questions regarding lifting and replacing tires

Post Body
I’ve done a fair amount of research on this but it seems like the answer tends to be “it depends”. I have a 5th gen, 2020 TRD Pro with the stock Fox shocks, stock wheels, and stock lift. I ordered a Cornfed lift kit to lift it 2” in the front and 1.5” in the back. Per their website this should allow for placement of a 285/70/R17 likely a BFG KO set of tires without additional modification. Some people state that this requires trimming and modification, others state they didn’t trim and didn’t need any other modification or only removal of the mudflaps.
Does anyone have experience with this? Do I really need an aftermarket UCA? Do I need to do a Viper cut?
