Wanted a six-foot bed platform that could fold down and push back for more storage and leg room while driving/not in use. Made from 3/4” plywood with four 2x’s as supports (of varying heights to make the platform level). About $80 in materials, not including the pricey Hest Dually mattress which was a splurge but makes for a very comfortable set-up. Width is 43” to fit between wheel wells.
this is kinda what i had in mind for my 4R. really wish i hadn't bought one with a 3rd row, but wasn't thinking. this looks like a really good set up! wish i had the skills to build something like this lol.

I do have access to a table saw and whatnot. Maybe I could make something happen at some point soon, before camping weather comes back around down here in Texas lol
