Before anyone says to google or do research, I’ve tried. Tons of conflicting info out there. I also didn’t find anything useful when searching this forum.
2021 SR5, 4wd, 70k mi. Basic question is if I’m replacing all 4 shocks, should I replace all 4 springs? Where do I get springs, Toyota?
Goal is to keep relatively stock. So going to use Bilstein 4600 or 5100. I just can’t figure out how to buy springs without lift from the third party sellers? Or even if I should worry about replacing them, just figured since I’ll be in there, I may as well do it.
Buy shocks from wherever and call dealer to buy springs separately?
I’ve done shocks/struts before, but it’s been 15 years or so. Confident I can do the job. Just can’t seem to find a straight discussion on the spring issue, particularly since I’m not super interested in a lift.
Thanks for your help.
