Squeal, 1.5 months after lift kit and front end kit
Post Body

  1. Replaced FULL UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL ARMS.
  2. OUTER TIE ROD ENDS
  3. Sway bar links and bushings
  4. Rear shocks and front struts( 3” lift now”)
  5. When i installed the lift i had the front lifted up and didn’t turn the car on fully so when i turned the wheel it leaked a little power fluid out. Anyways i topped it up other day a little too much with fluid and the squeal/screech that started quiet got very loud, still wasn’t hard to turn the wheel though. I checked the psf yesterday and noticed it was almost overflowing. Pumped it out and filled a few times. Turned wheel multiple times. Level of fluid doesn’t change when turning wheel. No air bubbles that i can see and any shop can see so far.
  6. Everything was greased with fittings and torqued down that I know of.
  7. Gonna check LCA cause i have been reading that could be common culprit.
  8. Gonna also check driveshaft u joint i guess(if i need to grease that what do i need to have to do that)
  9. It only squeaks and screeches at low speeds, after making sure the power steeeting fluid was close to correct level and not extremely high. The squeak is there but screech is gone(for the most part).
  10. ANY IDEAS WHY IM GETTING THIS? I mean shop said I replaced everything like a professional(Ik lol). They said nothing looked sketchy or wrong. And i got them to check for squeaks and they can’t figure it out

UPDATE- Basically after letting it sit for 16 hours, i took a 45 minute drive back home and minimal squeakage. The atf fluid that is oreilys brand and dextron 3 is way too thick. Valvoline pro life is 😋. Gg’s
