I have a 2008 4runner Sport edition with an ARB bumper weighing about 275 pounds w winch included. I have about 2 year old Old Man Emu UCAs and rough country LCAs. We also have tougher springs but I don't remember what number they were.
My ball joints keep failing and my alignment has been off by a lot for a long time. Every time I get it done its back to normal in a week. Also every time I turn my car makes loud twangs and creaks. I usually ignore it but now its just so annoying and feels like my wheels are gonna fall off. I just took it into a local shop for an alignment and he told me the ball joints are completely shot and refunded my money because "there's no point to even try to align it". I take it on very chill trails mostly just dirt paths with minor bumps, nothing that should be breaking the ball joints or causing this amount of issues. We replace the ball joints almost once a year and it still keeps happening.
I love this car but its becoming a nuisance. Do any of y'all have any idea how I could fix this issue?
New suspension? New ball joints? New car?
