Hey everyone! I’ve been wanting a 4runner for a while. I currently drive a 2015 Mercedes GLK, and I’m just wanting something that’s cheaper to insure, repair, etc. I want a 5th gen eventually, but for the time being it would be nice to just have a reliable car that is paid off to drive for a while.

I came across this 2009 limited with 180k miles. Dealer is asking 17600, but I would be paying with cash so I think I could probably get the price down. It’s had 4 previous owners. What do you think is a fair price for this, and what things should I look for? I have no problem with putting some money into it if needed to make it last for as long as possible, but as I’m new to 4Runners especially 4th gens, I thought I’d ask this awesome community. Thanks!
