With summer and storms, a gentle reminder to pull out your drains, clean the filter and lines, and get the crud out! If your front carpets are wet; you need to clean your lines! Remember, sunroofs are essentially - "controlled leaks" - and dust and debris get clogged in there fast! :)
I'm never sure if cross posting other links is allowed or some such noise... I'd point you to YouTube and search on "Xth 4Runner sunroof drain" for a copious number of videos.
For those with a 5th gen trail; if you let them get too clogged, the water drains into the upper control panel (and out the map lights). This will shut your truck off almost immediately with every light lit up on the dash -- usually in a heavy rain and while you're on a highway. :/
Clean your drains, folks!
(also after a good trail romp!)
