So The Jets just fired Robert Saleh, The Jets have been a dysfunctional franchise for as long as I could possibly remember and in my opinion..just as winning comes from the top-down, so too does losing. there are some franchises who I feel lose consistently because of their ownership, the chargers, the browns, The raiders, the Jets….. I don't think the Jets will find a different result there's different ownership in that building.
One thing we all know is that the Jets had a solid defense while Saleh was in charge, The dude can straight up dial it up on that side of the football and he always seems like he has his players ready to run through walls for him.. when he was a member of the 9ers coaching staff it was evident that he was the man, that 2019 defense flew around like no other, high energy high intensity connectivity I mean he had that defense ballin, he had players like Kwon Alexander playing out of there freaking minds… Not only that but you could Argue that Dameco Ryans should be considered a product of the Saleh coaching tree just as much as the s Shanahan coaching tree…he doesn’t hold back when he speaks on his relationship with Salah…The dude can flat out Coach. I don't think he's responsible entirely for the Jets project failing…show me a coach who has been able to do much better.
Meanwhile over here on the west coast people are panicking out here in the Bay area…we've blown two close games one being through the air as Matthew Stafford completely picked us apart, Stafford's a Hall of famer but no matter.. youve got to find a way to win that football game defense failed…on Sunday the Cardinals came in here.. and everyone not named James Conner had accepted their loss before the 4th quarter haven't even started, it looked like we had begun to figure it out.. after Nicholas John Bosa intercepted that screen-play the camera kept cutting to kyler on the sideline and his body language was that of someone who had lost a game, more than a quick headshake and reset like a leader is supposed to do, he was shaken up and it looked like we had already won…. But the fourth quarter started and James Conner absolutely ran it down our throats… Our defensive line is not getting penetration, they're not resetting the line of scrimmage in the backfield…. So not only is Fred having to bring along dee winters as he develops, continue playing sideline to sideline as only he does but he's doing so essentially with no penetration from the front four, I know the blame doesn't deserve to be squarely on Sorenson, in my opinion I feel that we don't lose that football game if dre Greenlaw is healthy that was a greenlaw game..Also not having #29 back there is a big deal…Brown is solid, but it's a lot to ask of him to pair him with a rookie…but The fact is that Dre's not going to be here for a while and we need leadership on defense to help Fred…we cannot afford to keep dropping these games…Nick Sorenson has never ran a defense before…. He was more of a quality control coach in both Seattle and here in the bay and he might be a great guy but we don't need a great guy we need a great defensive coach, we need energy.. especially with these injuries and these young guys having to step up and play in big workloads, we need leadership..
So does John Lynch pick up his little phone Dial that 973 area code and offer Robert Saleh his job back? or at least a roll with the team that allows him to essentially run the defense…everyone keeps saying the vibes are off in Santa Clara/San Francisco…. Last time Saleh was here the energy The 9ers exuded was insanely infectious, “The block was hot!” and The defense was the reason for that… I call Nick into my office Tell him I love him and tell him to clean out his office, and tell him to go back to running the scout team D. I know it's a small sample size and not really fair to Nick but we don't have time for this s***
BRING ROBERT SALEH BACK TO THE BAY AREA!!!!
I figured it might help him wash the Jets taste out of his mouth
Thanks for reading
Yup!! We look like we need an injection of heart our defense.. I think we're more talented than we were in 2019 (once healthy) but they were connected on a crazy level... Imagine Lenior playing for Saleh, he'd be ready to play linebacker lmao... Thanks for reading bro, go 9ers! We'll get this figured out!!
Yeah I haven't heard his comments yet. I guess I should have investigated that aspect of it before I wrote this.. I'm just looking at it from a sense of Fred played for Robert Nick paid for Robert kittle knows him... He's not an outsider per se, ... I get that Nick doesn't deserve to be fired and maybe fired is the wron way to go, At the same time dropping these games like we've done against divisional opponents is alarming I'm not burning jerseys like everybody else I've been repeating myself over and over again saying everybody needs to chill the f*** out.... At the same time The view through our "window" May look very very different next year.... Last year was our chance as is THIS year... We don't really have time to f*** around, thanks for reading bro
