Salt in Bong Water.
Post Body

Of course I don't use anything but regular water in the bong when I'm consuming herb. I do however add about a teaspoon to my bong before I rinse it out each time. Immediately kills every bit of the bacteria that may have formed.... And it doesn't take long. After a couple of bowls, I dump the dirty water out & add about a teaspoon of salt, shake it a little bit and rinse it out. Smells brand new and ready to go. I'm not suggesting this is cleaning the resin but I am suggesting that it makes it smell better and kills any bacteria that may have begun to develop. I've also noticed that by doing this, and I don't have an explanation, The rig is much easier to clean. The resin and smoke particles seem to come off with really hot water. Anyone else do this or am I the only one?
