Any suggestions for system supporting mass-scale warfare?

Me and my team are nearing the climax of our campaign, setting up defences of the system against a Chaos invasion. Since our system (Wrath & Glory) isn't really the best possible tool for playing mass scale battles, would you have any other suggestions? And no, we don't look to play it with 9 or 10 ed WH40K.
