I recently got an Archeotech bundle from the vendor, and in it I found a nice Archeotech Blessed Blade & Rod. However, I noticed that the LMB skill Onslaught is missing the normal Shock and Slow debuffs that the skill normally applies. This is is kind of annoying because my build is a debuff build based on Onslaught's ability to apply a lot of debuffs. I can work around it with other gear and the rest of the weapon is too good not to use, but I'm curious if this is a known mechanic or a bug.
I have tested the weapon and I can confirm that it does not apply Slow or Shock. It's not simply a problem with an inaccurate description.
I have noticed that Archeotech weapons will sometimes have red skill icons, and I have no idea what that means. It seems like something that should be explained in the in-game guide, but like a lot of things it's not there. (Seriously, why is there no key for the debuff icons anywhere?)
Here's what the Onslaught on my Archeotech Blessed Blade & Rod looks like:
