What's in the middle of the Eye of Terror ?

Since it was created at the birth of Slaanesh I always assumed that the main Eldar world was there but I can't seem to find the info on that . And why couldn't the Black Crusade go around it and then to Terra , why were they forced to go through the Cadian gate ?
