So I’ve had this idea rattling around for a while about an Iron Warriors successor Primaris chapter, likely deployed shortly after Guilliman’s friends finally decided to try turning him off and back on again.

But sideways, I hear you saying, Bobby G told Cawl not to use traitor geneseed!! My response: when has telling a mad scientist to specifically not do a thing ever gone well??

So anyway, in my headcanon these sons of Mr. Peter Turbo himself are called the Steel Souls and likely passed off as loyalist successors, I’d guess Dorn. But to get to the T’au bit:

Perturabo himself as well as his legion have always had problems with paranoia, self esteem, and not getting recognition for their deeds. And what faction is all about working together and each piece doing their part for the whole? With even their literal names dedicated to making sure you are recognized for your achievements?

That’s right, the T’au. So long story short, I’ll probably follow this post up some time soon with a full blown story about my new boys and how they end up looking something like the post from u/Ziggarot.
