I was thinking about the cornucopia of weapons in the game and how some are symbols of might, some are deadly and practical, and others that are hilariously over the top.

What are some of your favorite weapons in the game or in the fluff?

I will say the powerfist is one of my absolute favorite weapons. The first time I learned about it when I joined the game in 5th edition I thought it was silly. Why have a giant fist when you can have awesome swords and guns? Yet reading more about it in Black Library books and proper descriptions it’s an amazing weapon that is pure destruction. The descriptions in Rynn’s World where Orks are cored like an apple is incredible.

I also really love the “light saber” that Eisenhorn had in his first book. A blade of coherent light? Awesome. Why don’t we see more of them?

On a side note, while not technically canon, I do hope to see a power wrench one day.
