Hello everyone, hope all had a nice Christmas or Holiday they celebrated.

So I was just thinking about the new primaris only chapters and wonder how they operate as a whole. Now we see on the table and the available lore that they are missing some of the tactical flexibility the other chapters have. Do you think they are even more specialized than the normal space marines? For example the drop pod assault space marines can do, I don’t think I’ve seen that primaris use them so that would be a limitation.

In the novel they allude to a flyer but nothing else so would they even have access to the smaller fighter type flyers for defense? Or perhaps they have a good amount of servants/thralls for those?

The biggest one that occurred to me this morning is that I wonder who takes care of the mechanical and repair side. There doesn’t seem to be primaris tech marines. Would the engineseers of the Mechanicus take care of that?

I’d love to see some discussion and spitballing of what people think for the primaris chapters.
