I had a thought today. I know legionnaires are genetic sons of their Primarch so they make think/act similarly. Also of course all the traitor legions had loyalists that were purged or ran for it. However I was wondering would some legions have had a far more resilient time in falling to chaos or turning traitor? For example I think the Iron Warriors could have remained staunchly loyal were it not for Perturabo.
Same on the flip side. What loyal legions would have an easier time of being a traitor if they were under the guise of a different Primarch?
