Im going through a thousand sons right now and loving it, Graham Mcneil knocked it out of the park. I gotta say, after almost finishing the book I dont understand how people can say Magnus was innocent or right. The whole book he is the most overconfident, arrogant character Ive read so far in the HH. The way him and his space marines spends human lives is terrible and illistrates everything wrong with the attitudes and ideas space marines hold. The moment he completly lost all sympathy was when his empath captain got a glimpse of his plan to offer up Prospero and his legion on a silver platter to be slaughtered wholesale, and Magnus just kills him! Overall its a fantastic gutwrenching book but man Magnus is so much worse than I thought
