I understand that Faith currently works in places that the Warp in absent, like in Necron null pylons and Blackstone prisons (when it's polarity is against the Warp).
What is the difference between all these Warp powers and non-Warp powers?
psychic powers
Genetic ability that shapes the Warp through willpower.
Faith
Trait of ensouled beings that can manifest into a range of effects.
WAAAGH! energy
Warp current generated by the Orks. It's a communication network, psychic beacon and paranormal grease for Ork technology. It can be channelled by certain specialized strains of Ork called Weirdboyz.
C'tan
Beings from the beginning of the universe. Their abilities are non-magical and instead draw upon a complete understanding of reality.
Sorcery
Practice that draws upon a manipulation of ideas and symbols to conjure a Warp based effect. Can be bolstered by innate psychic powers but doesn't require them. Sorcery requires you to engage with the Warp rather consciously which makes it far more corrupting than being a Psyker. Think of it as the difference between plunging a bucket into a pool vs swimming in it. Or perhaps between reading a book with dangerous but powerful deas vs just using said book as a projectile.
