For example, could the mechanicum recruit members to join the martian empire feom a world loke nostramo back during the great crusade?
The AdMech are nominally the dreaded m-word so if you're part of the organization to some degree or another you get to rank up.
Hive Worlds probably have millions of lower end AdMech people everywhere. That gives you massive exposure recruitment potential.
...on that note though. They say that often the hive stacks controlling the flow of power are controlled & run by gangs. So either they have Mechanicus servants down there or that's technically some major tech heresy (tech Mars doesn't get to operate and control).
