So, Astartes. They're supposed to be mastercrafted warriors at the peak of military, intellectual, and martial prowess.
For the most part, this all holds true, until you get to the space wolves. When reading any novel featuring any other legions interacting with the slave wolves it's like watching someone try to reason with some angry angsty teenager way too passionate about their fursona.
"Brother Grimmsnarl, can you please stop howling and singing inside the drop pod? This is a stealth mission and we have only one shot at this"
"YOU ALL SOUND LIKE SUMMER PUPS LET THEM FIND US SO WE CAN HAVE A GOOD FIGHT AND I CAN SHOW THEM WHAT A WOLF OF FENRIS IS"
"Brother they out number us literally a million to on---"
"CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE WARRIOR WOLF SPIRIT IN ME ITS WOLFIN TIME"
Like seriously. I get that they're space vikings, but is just... So bad.
