Game not recognizing DLC from hShop?

So I got an actual Fantasy Life cart, which I installed onto my now modded 2DS XL. Now, when installing the DLC for this, the title screen SHOULD update to say "Origin Island" and it did after I installed the DLC from HShop...briefly. Then when I rebooted my 2DS to mess with custom themes, the title screen reverted back to the original Fantasy Life title, with no mention of Origin Island being installed.

If I check the DLC section in System Management it does show the Fantasy Life DLC as being installed so I am curious if the title screen just changes or if I need to delete the installed version and go back to the Cart version I have or what.
