So I am making a cave scene.
Steps I did for the scene: 1. Placed a plane with 150 segments on both 2. Assigned a Displace modifier and mapping it to a smoke material. 3. Instancing the smoke into the material editor to tweak it further. 4. Converted to an editable poly (not via modify tab). 5. Added a noise material (through the defuse option). 6. Applied one material to the noise color, and another to the second noise color. 7. Rendered... to see that the noise applied to every single polygon on the plane, not on the plane as a whole.
Any idea where I went wrong here?
