Now that we have a new ARM9 exploit it's easier than ever to install A9LH. However there are some people out there that don't want to mess with the NAND of their systems or they are unsure if they really want a "CFW". So to give you/them a taste why not just try out Luma without any risk?

Like Decrypt9, Luma 3DS is "just" an ARM9 payload so you can just rename the arm9loaderhax.bin from Luma archive to arm9.bin, put this file on the root of your SD card and launch it with Safehax/Fasthax. You actually almost get the full package. That includes:

• Payload Chainloading: You can boot Decrypt9, Hourglass9 and more just with a push of a button after launching Luma 3DS.
• Region-Free (better compability than HANS)
• New 3DS enhanced features (L2, Clock)
• Signature checks removal (You should be able to inject FBI and install .cias. They however are only playable when Luma is active.)

There is of course one major disadvantage. As soon as you shut down your system, Luma 3DS is gone. You also don't have session persistency. If you exit from the system settings of restart the system after using Decrypt9, etc. Luma is deactivated as well. Think about it more like a demo version of Luma. And having Region-Free and New 3DS enhanced features without installing anything on the system is pretty neat won't you say?
