(I don't even know how to phrase this, NOR do I actually know anything about 3-D printers...)
If I know that I have a thing that I need 3D printed, where do I even start? I don't want to BUY a 3D printer; I want to pay someone make my lids with the 3D printer.
I make custom lighters which need glazed/sealed, but in order to do that, they need a lid with an attached hook - the thing I need printed is the lid with hook. Maybe with feet to make removal easier - to literally just push up????? Consider the size of a regular/Mini Bic - I'm juuuuuuust looking to cover up that whole silver/red bit whilst it's being glazed.
From what little I know, it seems like I need measurements and files.. and things I don't yet have........
How much does it cost to get like, 100 little lids printed? (It's like 1.5x1x1 inches, if that. The one for the minis would be even smaller.)
How long will they last? Is it, like, malleable and strong enough to be taking the lid off, putting on a bunch of times? How do I know if it will react against the various glazes/etc?
