RepRap Help
Post Body

Hey everyone,

I'm struggling to use my RepRap. Long story short when I go to print something at 185-degrees the temperature tends to drop about 15 to 20 degrees, before rising again. But it never hits the 185 degrees again and fluctuates wildly. I've been thinking of buying a different extruder, one that can conduct heat a little bit better, but I'm also wondering if there is an issue with the software that I'm using (or if there is something wrong with the RepRap itself). The software I am using to print objects out is slic3r 0.71.

Any help is appreciated, as I am stuck and cannot get a descent print out to save my life.

edit: I should clarify that I'm new to this most of this and am learning as I go along.
