DM ruled that Temp HP stacks. Help me punish him?

DM has ruled that Temp HP stacks and I have a basically guaranteed PC death coming up.
How can I build my new PC to optimize abusing this ruling?
Parameters: Rolling for Stats, level 9, level cap 12, everything but UA is on the table.
Limitation: I know the obvious answer is Twilight Cleric, but I want to be a bit more creative and honestly think he might reverse his ruling if I go there, so please avoid that recommendation unless you can implement it in a super clever way, thanks!
