So I took a couple days off to deal with some life stuff. Namely grad school applications, job hunting and a big depresso episode the other morning over current events, but no worries. It’d be super lame if I totally stopped in the final third of the champions. We still have quite a bit of ground to cover.
Anyway, awkwardly fitting to the depresso mode bit, we’re covering the biggest sadboi to ever live. Lacking empathy and having a devouring sadness so powerful, it threatens to drag the world into darkness with him. Viego, the Ruined King. Ngl even though I was disappointed he wasnt as badass and imposing as we thought he’d be as the cause of the ruination, but I really do like how he’s got like those Ulquiorra vibes that bring me back to middle school during my Bleach phase.

- All champions are chosen at random via Ultimate Bravery
- All champions in this series will be built to a level 20 fantasy but that doesn’t mean you have to be level 20 in order to enjoy most of the core mechanics of the champion
- Viego gets his first taste of the mist in levels 3-7 and from there, tirelessly works his way taking the world with him into the abyss.

- Lore
- Once ruler of a long-lost kingdom, Viego perished over a thousand years ago when his attempt to bring his wife back from the dead triggered the magical catastrophe known as the Ruination. Transformed into a powerful, unliving wraith tortured by an obsessive longing for his centuries-dead queen, Viego now stands as the Ruined King, controlling the deadly Harrowings as he scours Runeterra for anything that might one day restore her, and destroying all in his path as the Black Mist pours endlessly from his cruel, broken heart.
