So I've got a bit of an odd plan here which certainly isn't minmax, but I'm curious to hear thoughts on it.
I'm playing a Circle of the Land Druid, and with an ASI coming up and my Wisdom already at 20 I sort of feel like picking something a bit more adventurous rather than the obvious feat choices for casters or increases to dex/con.
My eyes fell on the Martial Adept feature; Druids get proficiency in Scimitars so they meet the requirement, and the new Interception style looks like it could actually be quite fun and pretty good at in protecting teammates in both front and backline from damage, as a support-style mid-range caster. Druids have a decent enough health pool and AC with medium armor to take this position directly behind the frontlines or slightly in front of the squishy casters.
My question is really just; am I overestimating this, or is it a pretty acceptable feat choice for a Druid? It's pretty niche, but it seems like it could be really fun while not entirely feeling like a wasted feat choice. If I take this, am I going to regret it?
